What's Included
Each wrap kit includes:
- Pre-cut material in your selected size
- Extra margin around all edges for trimming and wrapping to the back
- Material matched to the B62 upholstery line for cohesive interior styling
These are flat, uninstalled components designed to wrap onto your existing door panel or headliner board (or a replacement backing panel you supply).
Size Options
Choose the wrap size tier that best matches your door panel style. Each tier is based on the typical panel dimensions found across classic Chevy, GMC, and Ford trucks.
Kick Panels
Small lower kick panels located near the footwell. These use minimal material and wrap quickly.
Common sizes include 13.5"×20.5" or 31"×10".
Small Upper Panels
Compact upper sections often found on earlier trucks. Larger than kick panels but smaller than full half-door panels.
Typically around 17"×38" when ordered as upper-only pieces.
Standard Door Wraps
The most common half-height door panels seen on mid-century and 60s–70s classic trucks.
Typical examples include 38"×17" and 34"×18".
Large Door Wraps
Full-height or full-width door cards requiring more material and layout alignment.
Examples include 34"×34", 38"×38", and 40"×24".
If you’re unsure which tier your door panel falls into, feel free to email a photo and we’ll point you to the correct option.
Fit & Compatibility
These wraps are designed for use with flat or gently contoured panels commonly found in classic trucks.
- You will need an existing panel or board in good condition to wrap
- Warped, crumbling, or missing backing boards should be replaced before installation
- Molded plastic panels or multi-layered contours may require modification
- Works with original boards, aftermarket replacements, and many DIY substrates
If you’re unsure, email photos — we’re happy to confirm fit.
Installation Notes
These kits are intended for DIY-friendly installation, assuming basic comfort with trimming and adhesives.
General process:
- Remove the panel or board
- Clean and prep the surface
- Apply upholstery adhesive (to the board AND the material)
- Lay the material, smoothing from the center outward
- Wrap excess to the back and secure
- Trim openings for handles, cranks, lights, etc.
Take your time during layout and test fit before committing with adhesive.
Pattern Orientation
Vertical stitched patterns run top to bottom on door panels and front to back on headliners
Diamond patterns are centered by default
No-stitch options can be oriented however you choose before application
Production Time & Shipping
Wrap kits are produced to order in your selected material.
- Standard production time: 3–4 weeks
- Shipping varies based on location
- Contact us before ordering if you’re working on a deadline
Because each kit is made to your specs, modifications after production begins may not be possible.
Optional Tools & Extras
You don’t need a full upholstery shop, but these help create a cleaner finish:
- High-quality upholstery adhesive
- Plastic smoothing tool or roller
- Sharp utility knife or scissors
- Masking tape + marker for labeling cutouts
- Staple gun (if wrapping to a wood/composite board)
None of these are required, but they mimic our in-shop process.
Returns/Cancellations
Because each seat is custom built to your material, color, and stitch specs, we cannot accept returns once production has begun.
