WARRANTY POLICY

Workmanship Warranty

B62 Upholstery offers a one (1) year limited workmanship warranty to the original purchaser.

This warranty covers:

  • Stitching defects
  • Seam construction issues
  • Panel assembly defects
  • Premature thread failure

All warranty evaluations are personally reviewed in-house.

Not Covered Under Warranty

The following are not covered:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage during installation (tools, hog rings, stretching, over-tightening, etc.)
  • Customer-applied modifications or repairs
  • Cuts, punctures, burns, abrasion, or pet damage
  • Issues caused by harsh/household cleaners or conditioners
  • Sun fading or chemical exposure
  • Damage to foam, springs, or seat frames
  • Damage caused by a poor seat foundation or improper installation
  • Customer-supplied materials (no warranty on their durability or behavior)

Any part that has been installed, modified, glued, cut, steam-shaped, or cleaned prior to evaluation is not eligible for warranty replacement.

If a workmanship concern arises, please email photos and your order number so I can review and determine next steps.

Delivery Claims

All claims regarding missing items, incorrect items, or order discrepancies must be reported within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Missing components will be replaced after review
  • Incorrect items will be corrected immediately
  • Claims made after 14 days may not qualify for replacement

Timely notification ensures I can properly review and resolve the issue.

Return Policy

Because every B62 seat kit is made to order in your chosen materials and layout, returns are generally not accepted.

If a return is approved on a case-by-case basis:

  • A 20% restocking fee will apply
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
  • Items must be in new, uninstalled condition
  • All components will be inspected before credit is issued

Items that arrive damaged, altered, installed, incomplete, or incorrectly packaged may be refused and returned to the customer.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return except under warranty review:

  • Custom orders
  • Special color/material combinations
  • Non-standard patterns
  • One-off custom builds
  • Clearance, sale, or discounted items
  • Customer-supplied materials
  • Foam that has been opened or expanded
  • Upholstery that has been installed or modified

Order Cancellations

There is no penalty for canceling within 24 hours of placing your order. After 24 hours, materials will have been ordered, pulled, or cut for your kit. Because of this, cancellations made after 24 hours receive a 50% refund.

If you need to update or adjust your order, please contact me as soon as possible.

International Duties & Taxes

International shipments may be subject to:

  • Customs duties
  • VAT
  • Import taxes
  • Brokerage fees

These charges are not included in B62 shipping rates and are the customer’s responsibility.
Fees are collected by your local customs office and vary by country.
